They are the heart of Wyldwood Collective — the artists, designers and makers whose hands and ideas shape the things you find tucked amongst the flowers.
We work with local Australian artists, independent makers and small studios who value thoughtful materials, slow processes and making things with intention.
At our little Lavender Bay store in Sydney, you'll find a rotating collection of handmade ceramics, original art, photography, natural soaps, textiles, woodwork and small-batch homewares. Some pieces stay with us for a while, others disappear almost as quickly as they arrive.
The collection changes as our makers do — and we quite like it that way.
Made Slowly, Chosen Thoughtfully
We like knowing where things come from.
There is a person and a process behind the things you'll find at Wyldwood. Hands that threw the clay, mixed the soap, worked the timber, painted the canvas or waited patiently for exactly the right photograph.
We choose to work with independent Australian artists and makers creating by hand, in small batches or through thoughtful production. Not because everything handmade is inherently perfect, but because we think there's value in knowing a little more about the things we bring into our homes.
It also means our shelves don't always look the same.
We're not particularly interested in filling them for the sake of filling them.
The Illustrated Fraser
The Illustrated Fraser is the independent art practice of Sydney artist Nikita Fraser, creating limited-edition minimalist works exploring form, contrast, colour and atmosphere.
Matt Dwight
Matt Dwight creates functional homewares, furniture and sculptural pieces from salvaged, recycled and renewable timber in his Thornleigh workshop, combining traditional woodworking with a deep respect for the natural character of the material.
Don’t Drop the Soap
Behind the scenes with Don’t Drop the Soap — an independent artisan soap brand showcasing handmade, natural soap bars at a creative market, crafted with quality ingredients and personality.
Palm row art
Palm Row Art is the fine art photography and print practice of Australian photographer Trish Evans. Her work focuses on creating quiet, luminous photographs inspired by travel, coastal landscapes, and everyday ritual.
Rory Story Ceramics
Rory Story Ceramics, based on Gadigal land in Newtown. She specializes in giving clay forms a life of their own, combining wheel-thrown structure with whimsical designs and hand-built creations.
Iz Vaughan
Devon-born artist with over a decade of painting experience, I create with the intention of sharing love, light, and colour to share joy from my world to yours.
People, Place & Planet
For us, supporting independent makers is part of sustainability too.
Sustainability isn't only about packaging, composting or where our flowers were grown. It's also about understanding where the things we buy came from, who made them and whether they were made to stick around.
Choosing locally made and small-batch goods allows us to support Australian creatives and small businesses while moving away, even in our own tiny way, from the idea that everything needs to be mass-produced.
We're interested in fewer things, made well.

Wyldwood Collective is an independent florist and creative store in Lavender Bay on Sydney's Lower North Shore.
Alongside seasonal flowers and plants, you'll find handmade ceramics, art, photography, soaps and other small-batch goods from Australian artists and independent makers.
Put them together and you've got a pretty lovely gift.

Yes.
Wyldwood's maker collection is deliberately rotating. New work comes in, existing makers experiment with new pieces and occasionally someone new wanders into our orbit.
It keeps the shop interesting for us and, hopefully, for you.

Not quite.
We're a florist, creative store and slightly eclectic home for things we think deserve to be seen.
You'll find flowers living alongside ceramics, paintings, photography, soap, textiles, woodwork and whatever else has caught our eye.
We're comfortable being a little difficult to categorise.

We’re always interested in meeting artists, designers and makers whose work might feel at home amongst the flowers.
Wyldwood works with independent Australian creatives on a consignment basis, with a majority of each sale going directly to the maker. There are no shelf fees or rent, and our collection is deliberately flexible and rotating. Giving makers room to try new things without needing to commit to huge amounts of stock.
We look for work that is thoughtfully made, has a story behind it and feels like a good fit for the slightly eclectic world we’re building here.
